Annual Delights

Why does Granny Organic like annuals so much?
First of all they give beautiful color all summer long. Sometimes 6+ months!
They can be used to fill an area while wating for perennials to fill in.
Cut flowers, cut flowers, cut flowers. Did you see that? Most annuals can be cut over & over & over for beautiful bouquets and they will rebloom quickly. 
Favorite place for bouquets? Mine is the bathroom. A sweet little bouquet on the toilet tank or any where there is room. Try it and let me know what happens.
Of course we have also organized our annual section at the Garden Shoppe. Sun, shade, containers, hanging baskets, premium annuals.
And, of course we love to answer questions & help with designs.

Landscaping questions

Ask yourself these questions when planting ornamental flowers, shrubs & trees.
1.  Does the site have full sun, full shade or sun/shade?
2.  What do you want to see? colors all year? Flowers in the summer?
3.  How tall do you want the plant to be?

Fairies in the Garden

Truly great garden fun is adding miniature accessories to your garden for the fairies. Don't have a garden? Create one with tiny plants. "Stepables" a name brand of groundcovers work great.  Blue Star Creeper,  Irish & Scotch moss, Brass buttons & more.  Kathy even pruned a dwarf boxwood to look like a little tree for out Fairy garden.  If you would rather "play" inside the little picnic tables, adirondack furniture, lanterns & bicycles will make a great accent for any doll's house or miniature railroad.
