If you planted garlic last Fall, now is the time to check them for harvest. And stop! watering.
Look for 5 levels of bottom leaves to be dried up & brown. The bottom level may have already fallen off.
Not all varieties mature at the same time but we were able to harvest one variety last week. The other 4 varieties will be ready in a week or two.
We can start pulling onions, too. Yipee!
